Human-environment interaction is when humans interact with the environment to get resources. An example would be when a person cuts down a tree. The human is interacting with the environment by cutting down that tree, and they are getting resources from the wood.
In Cairo, there is a growing infrastructure, which helps with the tourist industry. The population is building hotels, airports, roads, etc. for people to use when they visit Cairo. In Cairo, there are lots of transportation and industrial emissions which created a serious air pollution problem. Luckily, in the 1990s, they created the Cairo Air Improvement Project (CAIP), which is designed to reduce air pollution in Cairo.
